Hi there!
I began my career through an affection for birding and landscape photography, and as my dedication for the camera grew, eventually Valknut Photography began! There is no greater joy then sharing special memories with people and then being able to capture their story for future generations to enjoy. I have a degree in Education and got my Masters in Special Education right here in San Antonio at UTSA. I love working with scholars and families and its allowed me to develop my amazing personality.
I love teaching but my PASSION is photography. I specialize in doing fun and creative natural light portraiture and weddings. I am based out of San Antonio, TX.

I began my journey in photography as a model, but I soon fell in love with being behind the camera and planning special events. I have degrees in Anthropology from UTSA and The University of Montana. I enjoy showing the beauty of love, landscape, and humanity through my photographs and allowing the camera to share my experiences with others.
You will often find my trusted dog Teddy and I camping and hiking our way through the country because the greatest adventures are often experienced outdoors through the simplicity of nature. I am based out of Missoula, MT.
